General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Registration

  1. Registrations are to be submitted in writing by registration form or e-mail.
  2. The registration is binding.
  3. If there are not enough registrations, Swim Swift reserves the right to postpone or cancel the course.
  4. A waiting list will be created if the maximum number of participants is exceeded.
  5. The course and definite time of the course will be announced in writing by e-mail.

Course Confirmation & Payment

  1. Address must be provided in advance for course confirmation.
  2. The course confirmation is binding.
  3. The payment of the invoice has to be done within 30 days after the invoice date. In case of late payment a reminder fee will be charged.
  4. Swim Swift reserves the right to change prices.

Missed Lessons

  1. General:Missed lessons do not entitle to rescheduling or refunds
  2. Cancellation Form: For lessons that are canceled at least two hours before the start time, a make-up lesson can be requested.
  3. Flex Private Lessons:Lessons cancelled 24 hours in advance will entitle the swimmer to reschedule.

Course Cancellation

  1. Cancellation of a course must be made in writing by e-mail. (Non-payment of the course fee does not count as cancellation).
  2. General:In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the start date of the course, the entire course fee will be refunded. If the cancellation is received after the written confirmation has been sent by Swim Swift, the full course fee is due. Out of good will, the course fee can be given as a voucher. In case of illness or accident, the course fee will be issued as a voucher upon presentation of a medical certificate within 72 hours.
  3. For Private Flex Lessons:Lessons cancelled 24 hours in advance will entitle the swimmer to reschedule. In case of illness or accident, it is possible to make up the lesson upon presentation of a medical certificate within 72 hours.

Insurance and liability

  1. The participation in the swimming course is at your own risk.
  2. A sufficient insurance is the responsibility of the participants or their responsible persons.
  3. No liability will be accepted for any damage that may occur during the swimming course.

Force Majeure

  1. If indoor swimming pools cannot be used (e.g. due to closure, breakdown, force of nature, cleaning etc.) Swim Swift assumes no liability.

Safety and Responsibility

  1. Parents are fully responsible for their children before and after the swimming lessons.
  2. Swim Swift is only responsible for the registered participants during the course.

Swimming Materials

  1. Appropriate swimwear is obligatory for all participants. 
  2. Swimming aids (“floaties”, swimming vests etc.) are forbidden during the course.
  3. Swim caps are mandatory for all participating children (In case of exceptions: contact us).
  4. Swimming goggles may be worn from level 3 onwards. (In case of exceptions: contact us).

Jurisdiction

Swiss law is applicable for all legal relations. Place of jurisdiction is Uster.
